Mothers day drawing

Mothers day drawing by my darling daughter. On Friday she said to me "Mummy can we pop into the local card/gift shop as I want to buy something for myself with my pocket money!" When we got inside the shop she told me she did not want me to see what she was buying. This morning she showed me the box she had decorated with her drawing of me holding the Mothers Day present and her beautiful arty writing spelling Mothers Day. What a lucky Mummy I am as she spent all her pocket money and I really did not expect her to buy me anything. I also got some surprise flowers and chocolates from her Dad for me for Mothers day. I know it is a week away, but I feel very lucky to be so very spoilt and I just love my daughters drawing.

Here is my daughters Mummy song she made up for me this year. What a lovely, lovely gift!

Family is everything to children! I really hope that my meeting with our local MP will help bring back good old fashioned family values so our children all have a brighter future to look forward to! Here is my daughters beautiful original song called Family Joy:
