WAVES OF TIME MY ART PIECE FOR COMPETITION

WAVES OF TIME
by Sharon J. Bainbridge

A few weeks ago I got really excited because I thought my daughter, Melody, could enter a free Art Competition to win Hobbycraft Art Supplies. After buying her a big canvas, we found out she was too young to enter. You have to be over 16. Melody is a far better artist than myself.

What could I do? All I can do is try ... I thought to myself. So here is my rushed Art Piece. I know I will not win. A) Because Melody is a far better artist than myself. And B) You need to have lots of friends and family in your area to vote for you. How I miss England!

I would have Photoshoped this image. But I have given Melody my old computer.

The materials I used are:
  1. Friendly Plastic
  2. Silk (Silk paints)
  3. Self drying clay
  4. Acrylic paints
  5. Clock hands
Melody's recent drawing of an eye. She followed a Mark Crilley You Tube video to create this amazing art piece. Mark Crilley is currently her favourite author and artist.

Fingers crossed I can get support to set up a free Manga art group, so Melody can make some new and interesting friends.

I wish my Mum kept my art. But then, I could not compare it to Melody's LOL!

Have a great weekend everyone!
